  1. When I pulled up to the drive through there was a sign saying pull up to window to order. I ordered the $4.99 shrimp, fish, and crab meal. I was told they were out of shrimp. After waiting 10-15 mins. I finally got my order. Since it took so long I wanted to check my order before pulling off. The girl at the window rudely asked me to pull up. I told her I was checking my order first. I didn’t see your cream at first so I asked for some. She rudely told me she wasn’t giving me more because she put some in the bag. After I looked again I did see the sour cream. I also asked for hot sauce. At this point the girl at the window started telling me about the people behind me. I told her I wanted to make sure I had everything cause I wasn’t coming in after waiting all that time in line. I then started pulling away from the window. I’m almost positive that I could hear her yell something at me as I was driving off. I called back to the store to make a complaint about the rude employee. The manager on duty did not seem overly concerned. I told her that the drive through was out, they were out of crab, and then there was the rude employee. I told her that was the last straw. I asked for the employees name so that I could contact the corporate office. I was told that I could not get the employees name.

When I was younger, I use to eat here (and the one on hwy 29) every week with my family. Now, I rarely come. It use to be the fact that they raised the price on everything and add additional charges on everything, as well. But today, I was a little more disappointed. I use to love their green beans (always save them for last to enjoy), but today, they were bland – no flavor – to look forward to something, just to get your heart crush after the first bite. The shrimp were slightly overcooked (but still good), and now they are getting lazy without filling the ketchup container and just leaving packets, instead. It also feels like I’m being jipped on food, too. I used to leave filled, but now I leave hungry spending more money. Might as well get the kid’s meal if you come here, now. Probably get more food too.

Overall the service is quick, the staff is friendly (the cook was extremely friendly and helpful), and overall food is mediocre/good – depending on the day. I am glad that this Captain D’s has the soda fountain available to the public, instead of waiting in a long line to ask the person up front to give you a refill. Definitely miss the good ol Captain D’s.

I ordered the shrimp and fish deals .And the hush puppies were terrible ,they tasted like fried dough/cornbread not cooked thoroughly. The manager Selena was so unprofessional. The fish was pulled too early very fishy sea taste like it wasn’t cooked all the way through. I had this same issue about two years ago ,I love captain ds but they shouldn’t just hire anyone off of the streets.the manager sounds very ghetto like she has no class. I don’t know if I’ll be back .

Food was good… but the building needs maintenance not so bad that I won’t go back but Corporate Office needs to visit so they can make things right.

I am more disappointed today than ever. I usually had the shrimp for 4.99, but that no longer exists. So the closest thing to my shrimp was 8 pieces and a fillet of fish. The shrimp was so small, over cooked and was sitting for awhile, it was dehydrated a bit. Had fries, they were cold by the time our 5 min drive home was done. There were 2 female employees with phones in their faces while we waited. The slaw had cabbage with brown edges, meaning this was mixed with fresher cabbage. It appears that no one was happy working here. There needs to be a person like me who would fire and hire better staff, shake it up a bit, kick some motivation into the employees!
