Harry A’s is a staple of St. George, suffering an identity crisis. Not a good place for family dinner, but not a bad place for a drink and karaoke. Though they have a full menu, it is not setup or staffed as a restaurant in the evenings. Food was good, service was shady. We went with 6 adults and one toddler at 6:30pm on a Tuesday, expecting to wait a bit as it was memorial day timing. Hostess tells us 30 minutes, probably less. An hour later after waiting outside in the sun, we are called for our table. Our table was in the courtyard area, again it’s really a bar, and he tried to seat all of us at a 4-top, just adding a bunch of extra chairs. We are then told that it will be an hour for food, and that they can’t even take our food orders yet. We decided to just order food to go, given we had a small child with us. It took an act of Congress to place the to go order, pay, and leave. We did get a text that our food was ready. Went to pick it up and waited for 10 minutes before anyone came to talk to us, then had to shuffle through a pile of tickets to see which was ours because there were no names on any of them. Food was good when we finally ate, 3 hours after we got the the restaurant in the first place. I give it two stars because it’s a cool bar and the food was good, but it is advertised as a restaurant and there were tons of other families there waiting on tables. Totally bizarre experience, do not recommend for family dinner at the beach.

The food was not great. Oysters were dime size and smaller. Drinks were good but food was not worth the price. Our waitress struggled to get our orders right and still messed up the checks. We were told the place was kid friendly so we took the kids to karaoke. The atmosphere there was not at all suitable for young teens. There were minors drinking and older adults participating in inappropriate behavior in public. The bartenders were drinking more than they were serving. Would not recommend for families.

If you want to wait 3 hours to eat and love bad fried food mixed with alcohol then you are in luck. They have that! The fried grouper sandwich was about 3 oz. of actual fish and so much bread. I am not sure if anyone that works there has a clue what is going on. Over priced fried food and incompetence is not high on my list so stay away if you are not interested in that experience. If you like that then this is your spot.

Outstanding crab legs; great service; typical beach side restaurant. Waitress was very friendly but hostess was not. Slaw was just cabbage and maybe some sugar but nothing else. Cheese grits were average and needed to be made with heavy cream and salt added. The Blue Parrot seafood platter was loaded. Everything on it as grilled was excellent except the crab cake. Grilling shouldn’t be an option for that. If you like sweet tea, this is extra sweet! You should definitely give it a try.

Arrived before 5 and seated immediately, choosing the outdoor under the fan area. Had a beautiful view with ocean breeze. Somewhat attentive waitress, fair prices for a variety of dishes. Between the kids menu and appetizers, little kids had plenty to choose from. We parked our RV in a free beach parking lot a few steps away (you can rent this RV/Outdoorsy/Satellite Beach). Please advise: this restaurant is very popular and became very busy as we left!

Prices were affordable. Food was delicious. I loved the Imperial Mahi dinner and the Yellow fin Tuna BLT. I finished all of it. I was stuffed and wanted more. The drinks definitely gave me a happy buzz and my servers (Morgan) and (John) were excellent! Can’t wait to come back. Love this restaurant right on the beach. Perfect spot to watch the sunset.

Awesome place! Great variety and stays open late. The only place on the island that stays open until 10 pm pretty much. Their single scoop is massive! Highly recommend. We finished our date night there.

Ice cream on St. George Island. The building is adorable. The ice cream is good. The prices are what you would expect for beach ice cream. Parking was available but a little confusing. Located on the second floor (not wheelchair accessible). Ordered a chocolate malt and mint chip malt (both delicious). About $6 for each malt. It was crowded inside.

Great staff but short staffed like everyone these days. Good food at fair prices. I didn’t care for their BBQ sauce because I don’t like sweet ones but it was okay. Quick getting our food. I would recommend for a quick bite and you like sweet BBQ sauce.

My group of 7 had a great experience here for breakfast two days in a row! The staff was clearly working extra hard and getting everyone in as quick as possible. Our waitress was great and had all of our orders in promptly. The food was phenomenal! Absolutely loved the grits (some of the best and perfectly seasoned!), waffles, eggs, and bacon. Will definitely be coming back! 😊

This is good food. Nothing fancy here, but the service is quick and friendly, and the food is delicious. We had blackened shrimp and baby back ribs. The shrimp were plentiful and perfectly cooked, tender and flavorful. I could have gone for a little more kick, but that was balanced by them not being over salted, a common mistake when blackening. The ribs were deeply, deliciously smokey, with a nice dry rub. The BBQ sauces made them about perfect. Even the salad had some nice touches, with a gorgeous whole scallion instead of just a plain onion slice. Some grated cheese, fresh tomato, and a slice of hard boiled egg, and you end up with a really good salad instead of the typical afterthought of most restaurants. The new potato salad was refreshing and well prepared, and the onion rings light and sweet. Simple food, beautifully prepared, beats a fancy place every time

The staff accommodated our late night hunger right before closing. They didn’t let us order but gave us a free pepperoni pizza that someone else didn’t pick-up. It was pretty awesome even cold! I tipped them handsomely for their kindness. They could have jus told us sorry and took it home. They have the best pizza this side of Florida! It really was divine even cold. This will for sure be a mandatory stop off on every vacation here!

First time we went, the fries were cold and took forever. Second time, we made sure to tip well, to avoid bad service. It didn’t work, we ordered an appetizer for our son, with our pizza. Upon finishing the pizza, I asked about the appetizer. Turns out, they were out of the corn dog nuggets. Yet, I was charged, and if I hadn’t asked no one would have told us The server rudely offered to give us another appetizer. Appetizers come first, if they were out, back of house should have let front of house know. When the server become aware, she should have let us know. Yet, as we are tourists, they don’t care.

Visited SGI last week. Every restaurant had a wait but this one we just waited in line, put our order in, and within 20-30 minutes our pizzas were brought out to us. They were cooked perfectly with just the right amount of cheese. The fried mushrooms were hands down the best I’ve ever had, so big and juicy but not too greasy, great portion size. And it wasn’t an expensive dinner either. Great place to stop by if you want a casual dining experience without the long wait.

Fun spot with a little live entertainment and local hang out. oysters were good! the soup of chicken and seafood was good.. but was really a rue to go over rice, not a soup. Chardonnay was good.. Merlot was NOT. Beer and wine only.

Great wait staff. Freshest oysters and peel and eat shrimp. Live music every day of the week. Outdoor dining. Pet friendly. Great fans to keep you cool and bugs away. Wonderful subsets. Also have a children’s menu.

Go elsewhere if you’re looking for real seafood. Quarter sized oysters arrived floating in water rather than on ice. Crab legs not much bigger around than a pencil, the above fan was blowing so hard we had to hold our plastic cups and basket plates while we attempted to eat. Shrimp was in an abundance and decent. The best thing about this place was the LIVE ENTERTAINMENT! Go somewhere else for good food. Come here for a couple beers and entertainment.

This place was a Subway & Pizza Shop all in one: Over priced! Not the best pizza, and I love pizza. This pizza, not so much. I tossed out half of it. You are better off going to the supermarket, buying your groceries and making your own meals in your hotel room or beach rental.

One employee got an additude with me over cheese we came in and she had an additude she asked me what cheese and I said tuna no cheese and she looked at my brother and said what did she say and look at me and said I only asked if you wanted cheese or not just straight up disrespectful

It is a typical subway shop located on St. George Island in a good and convenient location. I will say that it was really heavy on the ranch (was not able to finish it. Mentioned the issue when the sandwhich was made but instead of making a new one they just kind of took a little bit of it off. It was a mistake on the sandwhich maker and they should of offered to make a new one, but they did not offer. Everyone makes mistakes so we were not upset) The other sandwhich was great and standard for a typical subway sandwhich.

This was my first visit Mango Mike’s. The place was quite busy and the wait staff was running full steam ahead to serve everyone as quickly as possible. Service from order to food on the table was surprisingly quick seeing how busy the place was… And the periodic follow-up for more food or drink was spot on. There were 4 of us and everyone was very pleased with their meal. Flavor, quantity, and care in preparation were all better than expected… The food was very good and in keeping with the theme of the restaurant! Give them a try, it’s a casual and enjoyable atmosphere.

The bartender was great and was trying his best to keep going even with the female drama around him. The food was mediocre. But honestly if you just keep the tourists/regular customers happy they will come back. Now with all of the other restaurants closed, this is your time to shine. You can relax when the others open back up. This is big opportunity for you guys. However what we witnessed were two waitresses going at each other over and over right in front of the customers. Apparently one works harder than the other and they chose lunch on Saturday to fight about it. But the language was ridiculous. I know restaurants are short handed but that’s uncalled for. At least address the issue. Opportunity is knocking on your door. Don’t they know, keep their drinks full and they will keep ordering more and tip more.

Had great drinks and a great time with friends however, the bartender with brown hair hurts business more than she helps it. As a bartender myself, I also know the lifestyle of being in customer service, but her attitude was uncalled for and very rude. Hopefully my 50% tip made her rethink how she was acting. Hoping she has a better day tomorrow.
