Love love love! The man helping us (I think he’s the owner) was super personable and down to earth. He let us know we could customize a couple of options and I was able to get a gluten free breakfast pizza! You can order anything off the menu at any time of day. It’s very family-friendly and all the food was high quality, picture-perfect, and absolutely delectable. Get the fries, no matter what!!

It was Mother’s Day for me. My host was superb, my daughters and I had the best seats in the room. The staff was kind, professional and knowledgeable. The food was outstanding, the beverage recommendation was top notch for the occasion. The menu was just enough, easy to read and choose from. The facility was very clean, restrooms well kept, the manager was overwhelmingly gracious and their overall hospitality exceeded my expectations. The river view was perfect cost matches the quality. Still my favorite restaurant by far.

I was in attendance at a wedding reception there on 03/12/22 and want to say that it was a wonderful experience. Lew, our waiter, had gone way above and beyond any expectations of having the banquet room beautifully decorated. He provided prompt service, attentiveness to our needs and professionalism. My husband and several of our friends dine there when Lew is working. The food is always great and Lew makes the experience so enjoyable. The lobster and shrimp were exceptional. I much prefer seafood so I can’t review other protein foods but I am certain that the steak was as great as it has been in my past dining experiences there. It was my first time in the banquet room and it was so cozy and intimate with the doors closed to the main dining area. Thank you, Morton’s for a great evening and for providing us the privilege of having Lew as our waiter.

Morton’s was close to the Times-Union Theater where our party of 4 had tickets to Anastasia play on Friday Night. Johnathan did a good job getting us through their dinner process in 90 minutes and out the door to our 8:00 show. You can expect to pay 💰 $100+ per person for a dinner that’s not all that memorable, but fit our needs of having to eat somewhere downtown. Morton’s signature Onion 🧅 Roll/Bread that they bring hot to every table looks better than it tasted. We were all satisfied, but just not enough to return.

The African American lady there is one of the worst/rudest people I’ve ever met. Doesn’t matter if you’ve ordered stuff from there in the past. If you’re sitting there alone in the EMPTY cafe to work and you didn’t order anything that exact day – not only will she yell and run you off but she’ll make sure to let you (and everyone else that is in the cafe) know LOUDLY how much she hates that you’re in there working. The other workers do not care and were pleasant/happy to have you there working quietly. Sad she is always miserable and insufferable.

This place is like one of those stories where you go through a door you’ve never quite noticed before, and inside you find an establishment with exquisite fare and impeccable service with an ambiance carrying all the nuances of a fine wine. It is the sort of place with one foot not quite in the everyday world, wherein you might expect to sit next to Napoleon or Poe, Kurt Cobain or Mark Twain – or perhaps someone who never quite existed at all, like Tom Sawyer. Visit for a magical experience. The question remains: who is the mysterious MonaLisa like namesake of this establishment? Who is Dora?

Terrible service. I ordered Chicken Alfredo through Doordash. After 30 minutes of waiting for them to confirm my order, the dasher called me to say they ran out of chicken. I could hear the owner yelling in the background saying he wanted to cancel my order. He refused to talk to me. The dasher handled it well and got him to make me spaghetti and meatballs. Apparently that’s all they had left. Very strange. To sum up : 1. Don’t cancel my order. Talk to me personally. 2. Don’t yell. There’s no reason for it. That’s unprofessional. 3. How could you possibly run out of chicken? All you had was spaghetti?? Seriously? The food was decent but all of that was totally unnecessary. Work on your people skills.

I’ve eaten here for lunch for maybe 15 years, might be more than that. The food is just great, I usually go for the stuffed grouper on Fridays, but have tried other dishes when it’s unfortunately not Friday. Since the remote working started, we haven’t been working downtown, so I’ve started trying stop in for to-go dinners, occasionally. Got the grouper last night, just awesome. Freddy and the team are very personable and laid back.

This place is amazing! 5 minute walk from Times Union. Everyone that worked there was super friendly and helpful. The food is amazing and very fresh! We had lunch before our matinee show and enjoyed it so much, we went back after the show. Only downside was menu was too small and hard to read. Despite this the person taking our ordered answered all our questions and made ordering easy. If you are in downtown Jacksonville, you should definitely check it out.

I’ve wanted to try this place for a while and decided to take a leap after an appointment. Fair warning if you’re using your GPS, it may be hard to find this place. I had to circle around a few times due to the various construction being done in the area. I really liked the outdoor eating area. If it wasn’t so hot, I probably would have eaten my food outside. Update this review has been in my drafts since early summer, so I can’t remember the name of the bowl I got. I do remember really enjoying one of the fountain drinks the most. They had a few unique flavors that I hadn’t seen before. I believe it was like a cherry flavor that was so tasty.

Great spot with (lots of) very tasty food options. Service was super friendly and the whole vibe was great. It’s a little bit odd for a group because you order at a counter and then they bring tour order out to you; but we made it work and setting up a bar tab was super easy. Bar closes pretty early; but you can get limited beer/wine at the food counter when the bar is closed.

I would never eat here. The manager is crazy rude. It was so hot. When we asked for another table he said its summer. Then he returned and told us it was ONLY 78! And did it as if that is normal. When a manager blames his patrons rather than fix his establishment, he doesn’t deserve patronage. Beware. This guy is a real back end of a horse.

Stopped by on our trip from Orlando, read about the great reviews and the crab Rangoon which we had, also had the summer rolls and everything was amazing! Food was great and tasty our server Lily was super awesome her recommendations were good, lychee cocktail not too bad my girlfriend loved it, it was her drink. We shared a main dish, red curry on a level 4 on spicy with shrimp and veggies which was a perfect amount of tolerable heat while still enjoying the flavor in the red curry and they split it for us, came out of the Kitchen in two separate plates which was a nice touch, nobody ever does that. Thai tea was really good, Thai coffee perfect and strong So overall experience was great! Food ✅🔥 Hospitality ✅❤️ Atmosphere ✅ Lily ♥️♥️♥️♥️✅🥳 Adding pictures with no filters

We were seated right away and our server came quickly to take our drink order. The food took a while to come out, like 45 minutes for a chicken sandwich. We split the sandwich and got it grilled with hot sauce, which was your regular Frank’s red hot. The chicken was juicy, but had too much salt and had a ton of black pepper. I love pepper and spicy, but it was too much. It would be better if there was other seasoning besides salt and pepper. The sweet potato fries were odd because there were 2 different kinds of fries together, it was like steak and crinkle cut. Overall, it was okay.

BEST GUMBO EVER… I went to this Springfield eatery for the first time yesterday with a companion. We both started with the gumbo and I am here to tell you that it was the best gumbo I have had in a long time and definitely the best I’ve ever had in FL. The sausage and amount of rice was just right. The rue was incredibly rich-tasting but not at all heavy. The star of the entire bowl were the shrimp, which were PERFECT. Tender, plump and flavorful. Not overcooked or dry. Congratulations to chef Williamson and his staff. I will visit again, soon and often… NJ / Saint Johns, FL

This is one of my new favorite places for breakfast, brunch and/or dinner. I have been here several times and the food is amazing. The fried green tomatoes are to die for. I have found if you get there for breakfast you get seated quickly and your food comes in good time. Not so much for lunch. But the food is still good.

I enjoyed it, the worker who served me the pizza was very nice. While I’ve never been to New York to eat authentic New York style pizza, this experience was pleasant but as far as their claim to have the Best Pizza in town….I’ll have to disagree on that. Don’t get me wrong though, it’s definitely worth a try!

I like there pizza and I give them my money often, but I got there pinwheels a few weeks ago and the dough was raw in the middle, and it actually wasn’t the first time this happened, but I called and was told that they would fix it whenever I wanted. So today I call and no one will help me because the manager isn’t there, and they can’t very what I’m saying! So why didn’t he write my name down, they said they were too busy to help me, and then they hung up on me while I was talking, which is quite disappointing for a business that I support and posted about on my food page to treat me this way….

Larry is an amazing chef. We go out of our way to stop in when he’s working to get a burger that Larry cooked. His burgers are magical and you can taste the love. Paired with a decent beer selection of local and craft brew…What more could you ask for. Props to Larry. He needs a raise.

I was hoping to have a few drinks and then maybe enjoy a cigar outside on a nice evening. What I got was less than generous pour of whiskey in a plastic cup and a weird amount of attitude when I asked if anyone had a book of matches. Didn’t feel welcome so I left.

This bar rocks. Just be patient. They get busy. Also on Jaguar home games the place does get very busy, like up to an hour wait sometimes on food but believe me it is effing delicious. If it is not up to your standards please let the staff know and they will remake it. But again overall a great place to hangout when your bored or on your lunch break or after work. Say hey to chelsea shes awesome. Also DORI.

Hidden gem!! Love the location and the outdoor seating. Great service with delicious food. Plenty of different burgers to choose from and the fries are not greasy or over seasoned. Happy customer 🙂

This little restaurant/food stand is pretty good, but I’m definitely not a fan of the overcooked/brown fries. If you’re confused where this is located, it’s in the little alley way right behind the Vystar building. Definitely don’t get the garlic fries tho, they’re just covered in grease. But other than that the burgers are okay! I kind of just come here when I need a last minute lunch since I work nearby. Be prepared to wait a bit for your order, at lunch rush it takes quite a bit of time.
